RBS gets bigger in Japan

Tsuyoshi Maruyama joins the bank in a newly created role as head of financial institution foreign exchange sales in the Japanese capital. He was most recently head of FX sales at Credit Suisse in the same city.

At RBS, Maruyama will focus on building relationships with Japanese banks, asset managers, insurers and trading companies, said a spokesperson at the bank.

Previously, all areas of FX sales were headed by John Shen-Nagakura, who joined RBS last November from Shensei Securities (FX Week
