The venture has signed banks, brokers and funds and prop trading firms as ‘early adopters’ that will commit resources and participate in beta and launch phases of the initiative. Deutsche Bank, Bear Stearns, Nordea and Calyon Financial are among the new participants on the system, scheduled for beta testing later this year.
There are now more than 40 participants, including UBS, Citigroup, Barclays Capital, ABN Amro, Merrill Lynch and Société Générale.
