City bonuses rise by a quarter

NEWS

The survey, conducted by recruitment company Morgan McKinley, found a fifth of financial services institutions are expecting their bonus pot to be up to 25% larger than last year's.

A further 40% feel the majority of their employees will not be disappointed with their bonus payout. With city workers' bonus expectations running high, these figures indicate that the 2006/2007 bonus season is likely to be one of the strongest London's financial institutions has seen for some time.
