Calyon chief heads Newedge
New York-based Max Smith was last week named global head of foreign exchange at Newedge. Smith was formerly chief FX dealer at Calyon Financial. Ryan Schiff, Chicago-based former global head of Fimat FX becomes global head of liquidity. The duo will be responsible for a team of 19 sales and trading personnel based in the US.
