Dai-Ichi Kangyo Beefs Up London Making Senior Hire In Forwards

Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank in London is building up its foreign exchange operations and has made a key hire in that direction, says Naoto Komine, assistant general manager. Allan Patten, BZW's former senior director in charge of forwards trading, is joining Dai-Ichi as its senior manager on the forwards desk.
Komine says that Patten's post is a newly-created position. "We are hoping to expand our currencies on our forwards desk. Patten will be in charge of all EMS currencies," he adds.
