Chase Moves London FX To New Site Pending Final Decision After Merger

Just several months shy of its planned merger with Chemical Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank has moved its London dealing room to new quarters at Vintners Place. The 330-position, $75 million dealing room complements the new room opened earlier this year in New York (FXW, February 20). The room can be expanded to 600 positions.
In light of the upcoming merger with Chemical Bank, sources say the forex divisions of both banks will initially be located at Vintners Place until a final decision is made as
