Globex: Cross-Exchange Trading To Start In Summer As Spanish Meff Joins The Alliance

LONDON--The Globex Alliance, a partnership between derivatives exchanges, is to begin cross-exchange electronic trading this summer, said Scott Gordon, president of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), at a press briefing in London last week.
The announcement comes a week after Spain’s futures and options exchange, Meff, joined the alliance as its sixth partner, alongside the CME, ParisBourse, the Singapore Derivatives Exchange (SGX, formerly Simex), Brazil's Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros (BM
