Hong Kong Forex Association Runs 'Mini-Survey' On 1996 Job Prospects

A "mini-survey" of job prospects for 1996 by the Hong Kong Forex Association has found that more than half of those surveyed say they plan to expand although only about five per cent say they hope to boost their foreign exchange trading desks.

Of the 15 foreign and local banks surveyed, none planned staff reductions, six said they would maintain current levels and nine said they expected to expand their ranks in the territory next year.
