CSFB Forms New Global Forex Unit To Focus On Research and Strategy

Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) has formed a new global FX research and strategy group under Joe Prendergast, who joined the bank two weeks ago, says Philip Vasan, CSFB's global head of FX in New York. Prendergast was most recently a senior currency strategist at Merrill Lynch in London.
In his new position, Prendergast will lead the global FX research team, including both fundamental and technical analysis. He will collaborate closely with two other research groups that the bank is linking
