US FX Committee To Release Report On Numerous Euro Settlement Issues

NEW YORK--The US Foreign Exchange Committee (FXC), the industry body affiliated with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will next month launch a series of recommendations on quoting, deal conversions and settlement ahead of the launch of the single European currency next year.

The recommendations will be based on the committee's research paper, entitled, "EMU: Guide to Operational Issues in the Foreign Exchange Market", which will be available later this month, says Eileen Spinner, secretary
