SocGen Bolsters NY Forex Sales Operation, Whilst Launching Options Marketing Desk

Since taking up the post as head of foreign exchange sales for Societe Generale in New York last May, Kris Dasgupta says the bank has been actively building its sales team in New York to increase its profile and has started a new options marketing desk to cover US clients.
Proprietary dealer Barclay Lieb has shifted onto the new options marketing desk, says Dasgupta, who adds that another options marketing specialist will be brought on board, along with two sales dealers, during the first quarter
