Bank Of Boston Regroups To Begin Expansion Phase In FX, Derivatives

The Bank of Boston has consolidated its financial markets trading operations into one division and is embarking upon an expansion phase aimed at improving its service to customers. The new division, global financial markets, is headed by managing director Thomas Hughes, who now heads foreign exchange and derivatives trading and sales, as well as securities and portfolio trading, officials say.

The new division aims to "flatten" the bank's organisational structure so there are fewer management
