DLJ Beefs Up Sales Team; Continues With Internet Forex Research Drive

NEW YORK--Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), the US investment bank, is strengthening its FX sales and strategy operation, with a spate of new hires and a thrust into Internet-delivered currency research, says new head of FX sales Courtney McLaughlin.

Last week the bank bolstered its New York FX sales division, with the creation of a new position for McLaughlin, who was brought in from Chase Manhattan Bank to spearhead the group's FX sales effort, with a particular focus on Web-based services.
