Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi decided to globalize its treasury operations when it began trading under the merged entity on April 1. Haruo Kimura, formerly the general manager of Bank of Tokyo, is head of the global FX and treasury division, overseeing the bank's three global centres in Tokyo, London and New York. Haruo is chairman of the Forex Club Japan.
