LONDON--Svenska Handelsbanken has withdrawn from FX market-making in London, relocating all its foreign exchange trading in Europe to its Stockholm headquarters.
A local sales network will be retained in London to service the UK-based customers, says Petri Hatakka, head of global trading at Handelsbanken, but all pricing and trading-intensive sales will be serviced out of Stockholm.
