Combined currency options volume at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (Phlx) totalled 513,780 (a daily average of 23,354) for May, up from 320,321 (a daily average of 16,859) for April and below its year ago 718,028 level (a 34,192 daily average), officials say.
May open interest totalled 610,821, up from 571,783 over April. Volume in the exchange's Ucom customised currency option contracts rose significantly to 91,712 during May, well above the monthly average 25,748 contracts traded during the
