BoA Launches Initiative To Boost FX Income

LONDON -- On the back of disappointing year-end results for FX revenues, which were down 8% from the previous year, Bank of America (BoA) last week announced two new initiatives that it hopes will boost its FX income.

A new FX sales team has been established to target the commercial clients of Bank of America. The new team will be headed by Alan G Jirkovsky, who's been with the bank for 27 years and will report to Michael Bernal, head of FX sales for the Americas.
