Commerzbank Hires 11-Strong Team Of Stir Derivatives Dealers From Lloyds

LONDON--Commerzbank has hired a team of 11 derivatives traders from Lloyds Bank to start a market making interest rate derivatives trading operation in London. The team, headed by Charlie Porter, started at the bank on July 14 (FXW, July 20).
Commerz already has a short-term interest rate team in place, but the bank wanted to build this side of the business further. The new unit will operate autonomously within the treasury department, trading into the professional market.
