Cognotec Branches Out With Hires, Investment And Americas Division

DUBLIN--Cognotec, the automated dealing systems vendor, is entering a major expansion phase.
The Dublin-based vendor has hired John Beckert, a senior founding member of EBS, as president of a new, wholly-owned Cognotec Americas subsidiary, and is receiving a "large investment" from Warburg, Pincus & Co to aid the expansion.
Beckert will serve on Cognotec's board for both the subsidiary and Cognotec Limited, the parent company. He spent the past 10 years with EBS, managing several functional
