Royal Bank Of Scotland Set To Integrate, Expand FX Trading Operation In Scotland

In a move to offer "one-stop shopping north of the border," Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is reorganizing and expanding its trading operations in Scotland, says Bill McKay, head of treasury and capital markets for that region. According to McKay, the bank plans to integrate its foreign exchange operation, currently located in Glasgow, with its money market and interest-rate risk management operations, currently in Edinburgh. At the same time, it is hiring additional forex staff.
