Deutsche Bank pours capital into Thailand

Deutsche Bank has raised the capital it invests in its Bangkok branch by 9.5 billion baht ($313 million), to a new total of 18 billion baht.

"The new capital is to support the expansion of our global markets business, particularly the growth in FX and derivatives volumes," said Rags Raghavan, Deutsche Bank's chief country officer for Thailand. The capital will also go towards supporting the growth of private wealth-management and transaction banking
