Forex hedging up in US

As of September 15, hedging ratios among US-based corporates hit 55%, a 22 percentage point increase from the previous quarter, according to a JP Morgan survey of 93 US, European and Japanese companies. The surveyed corporates have a combined market capitalisation of $1.66 trillion. This US FX hedging ratio is the highest year-ahead ratio recorded, on a market capitalisation basis, since the bank launched its quarterly survey in 2005.
