Patience pays off for Danske on USD

The last time the bank topped the three-month rankings was on December 10, exactly three months before this week's forecasts were collated. Back then, the bank predicted EUR/USD, which was hovering around 1.46, would reach new heights and hit a peak of 1.55 in the second quarter, while USD/JPY would fall to 100. Last Monday, EUR/USD edged closer to that forecast, ending the day at 1.5339 while USD/JPY reached 101.80.
