The value in Asian currencies

When it comes to Asian FX, the long-term prospects are bright. Out of a list consisting of the yen, renminbi, Indian rupee, South Korean won, Philippine peso, Thai baht, Indonesian rupiah, Singapore dollar, Malaysian ringgit and Taiwan dollar, the top five performers are now stronger on a real effective exchange rate (REER) basis than just prior to the Asian crisis of 1997–98.
