G-3 corporates increase their currency hedging

The survey, conducted between March 26 and April 4, gauged the year-end 2008 and year-end 2009 hedging plans and currency expectations of 61 of JP Morgan's corporate clients. The clients are based in the US, the eurozone and Japan, and together represent a market capitalisation of $1.28 trillion. The figures were compared with expectations from the same survey held in December, though participants can vary from quarter to quarter.
