CME Group creates US- style options
CME Group is today (September 10) launching weekly foreign exchange options on futures with US-style expiration on the exchange's electronic trading platform, Globex.
The weekly options are on the euro, yen, sterling, Swiss franc, Canadian dollar and Australian dollar versus the US dollar.
For the US-style FX options with quarterly expiration, the exchange plans to initiate e-trading of the third and fourth quarterly options contracts at the end of September
