U.K. Analysts' Report Projects Large Dealing 2000-2 Revenues For Reuters

In a 107-page detailed study of Reuters Holdings PLC released this week, electronics analysts from Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW) predict that Reuters will continue to dominate the foreign exchange information and dealing markets despite increasing competition. Moreover, the report projects, the company will earn at least £28 million per year from its Dealing 2000-2 foreign exchange order-matching system by 1995--and probably much more--with margins of 40 percent.
