Rabobank Launches FX Options Desk In Singapore To Complement Utrecht

Rabobank Nederland launched the second leg of its planned global book in currency options on June 1, bringing up a new desk in Singapore, according to Karel Lankenau, treasury manager in the city-state. The options team there is run by Chee Hong, who joined the bank from ABN Amro at the beginning of January to set up the desk.
The desk complements the options operation in the bank's headquarters in Utrecht, which began trading on January 1. "It will be a global book which will be evolving around
