Survey Highlights Impact Of E-Broking On Forex Market

LONDON--The academic staff of City University's Business School in London have released the results of a study on current practices in the FX market. The survey underlines the impact of the electronic broking services on the FX industry as a whole.

The survey indicates that 50 per cent of FX transactions are traded via the electronic services, with 34 per cent executed in the interbank market and 16 per cent via voice brokers. This compares with the situation five years ago, when just 6 per cent
