For the first time since the official merger of SBC and SG Warburg, SBC Warburg reports earnings of Sfr415 million from foreign exchange and banknotes for the first half-year of 1996. Comparable figures for a year ago are not available due to a change in the bank's accounting system, officials say. SBC Warburg reports Sfr1.477 billion for net trading income during the period (which includes FX and banknotes, rates including emerging markets, equities, precious metals and other trading revenue)
