FX market liquidity undamaged by euro

LONDON -- The introduction of the euro has had little effect on liquidity in the FX markets, according to one recent report.

A Citibank research report published last week in the Bank of England’s twice-yearly Practical Implications Arising from the Euro, said that although volumes dropped at the start of the euro’s trading life, they have since recovered, and liquidity has consequently returned.
