Jay Mason, a broker at Prebon Yamane (USA) in Jersey City, has claimed the bottle of champagne FX Week (perhaps unwisely) put on offer to anyone who could identify a foreign exchange trader in the U.S. older than Sam Pinkowitz, the 86-year old ex-forex trader honoured at Forex USA's "old timers" meeting in New York on May 18. Mason's mother, Anne Mason of Venice, Florida, turned 87 this April. She worked for Continental Bank in New York from 1927 to 1940, initially in the forex operations area
