Given its importance at the heart of the global financial system, it is vital that the foreign exchange industry and those operating in it uphold the highest standards – including promoting inclusivity in the appointment of its leaders and managers, particularly women.

So remarked Andrew Hauser, executive director for markets at the Bank of England, at a conference organised by the Global Financial Markets Association.
