FX Week USA delegates hear buy-side take on investing

Currency market investors have been hit by the near impossibility of generating returns as markets continue to suffer from the artificially low volatility environment, buy-side market participants told delegates at the FX Week USA conference.

Adnan Akant, head of foreign exchange at Fischer Francis Trees & Watts and buy-side co-chair of the Federal Reserve's FX Committee, said the current period of low volatility and low interest rates is more severe than other bouts of challenging market
