Thomson Reuters Matching suffers outage; trading unaffected

Outage during non-trading hours on Sunday prevented client testing

Thomson Reuters Matching suffered a global outage over the weekend due to a technical glitch that prevented customers from testing their systems before Asian trading hours kicked off, according to a memo sent to customers and obtained by FX Week.

The outage hit the trading platform on Sunday afternoon and lasted for approximately four hours, during so-called non-trading hours before Asian traders commenced for the week. A spokesperson for Thomson Reuters confirmed that the outage took place.
