FX sales co-head leaves HSBC

Robbert Sijbrandij, co-head of foreign exchange and commodities institutional sales at HSBC in London, has left the bank and plans to take time out from the industry.

Based in London, Sijbrandij had been at HSBC for more than two years, having joined from Goldman Sachs in August 2010. He originally reported to Patrick Schartner, head of institutional FX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
