CME names first market-makers for Korea futures contracts

DBS, Korea Development Bank, Korea Exchange Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Woori Bank provide transparent and competitive markets for the contracts, according to CF Wong, CME’s managing director for products and services in Asia.

In a similar move several months ago, CME listed futures contracts and options on futures on the Chinese renminbi against the US dollar, the euro and the yen (FX Week, June 26). The move will open the won to a bigger class of investors, and is likely to improve
