Cfets-CME partnership to aid China trade

Wang Xiaoyi, deputy governor of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (Safe) told delegates at the FX Week China forum in Beijing last week (May 15), that the Chinese market is in need of more hedging instruments in the form of FX derivatives for banks and enterprises. "The contract signed with CME...will help domestic companies conduct risk management [activities]," he said.
