Man Financial fined by CFTC for poor supervision

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) said last Tuesday (February 20) that the futures broker failed to supervise former employee Steve Camp, who had been fraudulently selling accounts at Man Financial.

The broker is paying a civil penalty of $120,000 and paying defrauded customers just under $197,000 in compensation. Man has also been ordered to strengthen its supervisory system for overseeing sales tactics used by employees when linked to third-party providers.
