Reuters to face euro pinch

LONDON -- Information and electronic broking giant Reuters may be squeezed out of the FX broking market if the UK joins the euro, market participants told FX Week.

The firm, which pioneered electronic spot broking in the early 1990s, now dominates the electronically brokered sterling market, which would disappear overnight if the UK joins the single European currency.
