CFOWeb Confirms Trading Stopped In March, Blaming Imminent Launch Of Bank FX Portals

FRONT PAGE NEWS

NEW YORK -- Independent capital markets trading portal, CFOWeb, stopped trading in early March, Harpal Sandhu told FX Week. Sandhu is chief executive of software company Integral, which owns the site.

The admission ends months of speculation about the success of CFOWeb, which was the first independent portal to launch multi-bank trading in FX last June. Industry insiders said the portal had not been able to attract sufficient liquidity to the system (FX Week, February 26).
