First Union Bank of North Carolina has reported foreign exchange gains of $1.23 million for 1994's third quarter, down from $2.05 million for the second quarter, and $820,000 below that of last year's third quarter. Year-to-date foreign exchange revenues at the U.S. super-regional total $1.42 million, down from the $5.19 million it earned during the first nine months of 1993. Third-quarter total trading account profits amounted to $10.91 million, compared to $10.25 million during the second
