Three Australian Banks Join State Street’s FX Connect

NEW YORK--Three Australian banks have signed to join FX Connect, State Street’s FX trading service for institutional investors.

The system is part of the US bank’s e-commerce portal Global Link.

The deal means users will be able to trade directly with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Bank of Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation through State Street’s proprietary trading system, Simon-Wilson Taylor, head of Global Link, told FX Week.

Analysts say that of the three, Westpac is likely
