MPC Leaves Market Guessing On UK Rates

LONDON -- The Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) dropped few hints on the future direction of UK interest rates as the members testified before the UK government's Treasury Select Committee (TSC) last week.

However, the policymakers hinted that further interest rate cuts could be made in light of the slowdown in the US economy, analysts said.
