Central banks are behaving irrationally, complain currency managers
The European Central Bank (ECB) and the Federal Reserve are failing to tackle fundamental issues facing Europe and the US with the recently announced round of ECB bond buying and the possibility of further quantitative easing in the US, senior currency managers have warned.
Speaking in a panel discussion at the FX Invest West Coast conference in San Francisco yesterday, Collin Crownover, head of currency management at State Street Global Advisors, described the new Outright Monetary Transaction
