Chemical Futures & Options Ceases Phlx Floor Execution But Remains In Chicago
BROKERS
Chemical Bank is closing its currency options floor execution operation, Chemical Futures & Options, on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (Phlx) this month, officials confirm. "We will continue to clear currency options there, but CF&O is discontinuing its operation as a floor execution team," says an official.
The move to cease market-making on Phlx does not affect its operation at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, which is headed by Don Schwartz, who will run the unit for the new Chase.
