EFP Market Makers Eye Globex Launch Warily A Threat, But No Knock Out Punch, They Say

EFP market participants weren't exactly thrilled to hear that Globex is slated to go live June 25, but few fear that the first electronic order matching system for futures and options will swallow the EFP market whole. However, participants surveyed agree with exchange officials and Globex Corp. managing director Gary Ginter, who note that the system will provide direct competition.
