NatWest FX Earnings Rise 32 Per Cent To £120 Million For 1995 Interim Report

FX gains at National Westminster Bank, now known as NatWest Group, rose 32 per cent to £120 million in the first half of 1995 from £91 million during the same period last year. The results are also higher than the £96 million posted for the second half of last year.
NatWest's overall dealing earnings were a bright spot in an otherwise indifferent first half for the bank. They climbed 23 per cent to £309 million from £251 million for the first half of 1994. Securities trading and equity
